Mountains and forests are the grounded, earthy side of the gallery: alpine lakes at sunrise, pine forests in mist, autumn ridgelines, desert canyons and minimal line-drawn peaks. Greens, greys and warm browns suit rooms with timber furniture, leather and wool.

Vertical forest scenes are a good answer for narrow walls beside a door or window, and triptychs of mountain ranges carry a hallway or a long dining wall. Misty, low-contrast scenes rest the eye in bedrooms; high-contrast sunrises energise an entrance hall. Natural wood frames are the obvious match, though black frames give photographs of snow peaks a crisp, modern edge.
